Purple Beech is an especially beautiful choice for the garden, prized for its rich burgundy-purple foliage and elegant form. Beneath the surface, its roots have been inoculated with the same prized French Black Truffle grown at Scotch Hill.
It makes a magnificent feature tree, or it can be grown in a large wine barrel and shaped as a topiary to create a more compact ornamental tree.
Our established Purple Beech trees are approximately 1.5 metres tall and supplied in 35 litre pots, giving you a substantial tree ready to establish in its new home.
